Dit station is monumentaal maar behoort niet tot De Collectie, wel is het onderdeel van een reeks stations. Momenteel is een generieke waardestelling voor dit station beschikbaar. Op basis van de afspraken tussen NS en ProRail zal vooraf aanpassing, verbouwing of eventuele sloop van dit station een specifieke cultuurhistorische waardestelling opgesteld worden.
